The Resource Guild ignited 2024 with the inaugural Black Media Mixer ATL on January 30th, held at The Union Fit Hub in Atlanta. The event was created to bring more unity amongst black media and served as a vibrant convergence of black journalists, TV and radio personalities, and PR professionals. The centerpiece of the event was the “State of Black Media” panel discussion on media and entertainment. Guided by the at times mischievous but at all times astute moderation of Mr. Daniel Dickey (The Renaissance Man, Founder of The Resource Guild/Black Media Mixer ATL), the conversation was enriched by the perspectives of panelists Olivia LaBorde (Field Producer- CNN, Cooking Show Host- FoodyTV), Big Ray Vangroove (Nationally Syndicated Radio Personality – Majic 107.5/97.5 & Ryan Cameron Uncensored), Jai Majeed (Promotions Coordinator – Audacy Inc.), Danie B (Midday Host and Digital Coordinator – V-103), and Kenny V (Owner and Creative Director – iDaydream Studios, International Recording Artist).
