Clayton County School’s Martin Luther King Elementary’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration the last week of September was a beautiful sight to see! The panelist discussion with Javier Vazquez Jr. (Actor/Writer/Producer – BMF, Tyler Perry’s The Oval, Marvel’s Venom), Isabella Solis (Councilman Representative – Forest Park Ward 3) and Raphael Aragon (Representative – GALEO) proved to be insightful and laid the pavement necessary for the school district to continue to join forces with the Latinx community. Salsa dancing was a hit with the elementary school students thanks to Javier’s easy and fun approach to teaching. Needless to say, these elements mixed with the delicious food, music and free health screenings worked together to give all who attended an enhanced Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration experience this year!
Recently, The Resource Guild went into an Educational Partnership & Collaboration Agreement with Clayton County Public Schools to enhance their messaging, brand development, community engagement and more so stay tuned for additional collaborations between Team TRG and Clayton County Public Schools!
