The Collective, a group of 4 Black Men who specialize in trading, investing, branding and fitness consist of: Lawrence Eggleston (The Panther, Black Wall Street Originals), Santino Drew (The Only Option, Wise Money Academy), Jameel Abdur-Raheem (The Sniper, Asymmetry Trading) and Ivanlee Jackson (The AI Assassin, Optimize Digital Ventures) hosted this investment and success symposium titled, The Collective Summer Slam: The Real Money Experience on Aug. 24th and Aug. 25th at Atlanta Tech Village. This event was curated to change the minds and perceptions of what trading truly is and how to achieve success regardless of your education and background. Some people think trading wins require a degree from a big shot Ivy league plus years of experience on Wall Street, but The Collective will show you just how untrue that is.
On day 1 of The Collective Summer Slam: The Real Money Experience attendees started the day with a continental breakfast and meditation to set the tone. Following was a full day of live trading led by Lawrence Eggleston, Santino Drew and Jameel Abdur-Raheem with a delicious catered lunch provided by Micky’s Rollin Bistro. After lunch Ivanlee Jackson presented a special interactive presentation on entrepreneurship and then wrapped with a Q&A with all the members of The Collective while offering a holistic view of success . This two-day event also included high level networking, real time trading & panels with industry experts on various subjects and more.
Day 2 of The Collective Summer Slam: The Real Money Experience started with a Breakfast with Bosses hosted by The Collective’s own Ivan Lee Jackson & 11 Alive’s Emmy Award Winning Aisha Howard. This breakfast was prepared by Chef Sunny and featured the Who’s Who of Atlanta’s thriving business community including entrepreneurial standouts, corporate executives and more. Atlanta City Councilmember Byron Amos presented an official Welcome Letter to The Collective and provided remarks on behalf of the City of Atlanta as well. Following the breakfast, they broke out into their first panel discussion, “Harmonic Collective Health” where they discussed wellness as a big part of the collective elements of success … Mind, Body and Soul. The panelists were Lawrence Eggleston (The Collective), Jameel Abdur-Raheem (The Collective), Brittany Dobbins (Certified Yoga Instructor & Entertainment Attorney), Nisheè Moore (Licensed Therapist) and moderated by Raquel Curtis (Speaker & Host). Their next panel was “Trading Spaces” which was a worthwhile conversation with industry experts on investment trading w/ the best practices in mind, and finding out how you can see the results you want as a full-time or part-time investor. Their panelists were Jameel Abdur-Raheem (The Collective), Lawrence Eggleston (The Collective) and moderated by Anna D (Speaker & Host). After their second panel they broke for lunch which was again provided by Micky’s Rollin Bistro. Following lunch they jumped into their next panel, “Secure The Deed”, where they had an in depth conversation on the latest trends and mirages in the Real Estate market. The panelists were Arneé Harrison (Owner of The Owner Suite Group, Real Estate Broker), Lakisha Knight (CEO & Realtor of Knight Luxury Group), Jimmy Jones (Real Estate,TV, Music & Marketing), Denise Williams (CEO of Williams & Co. International Reality, International Real Estate Broker) Walil Archer (AirBnB Property Owner, Photojournalist for the Real Rap Radio Show and Downtown Hot Radio), and moderated by Shametria Gonzales (Motivational Speaker). Before their last panel, The Resource Guild delivered a presentation on content and why it’s keen in all aspects of business. The last panel of the day, “Entrepreneurship & Influence” Presented by The Coinology Podcast was moderated by Ebony Porter-Ike (EPI Media Group, Award Winning Publicist and Host of Coinology) with panelist Ivan Lee Jackson, Dolapo Erinkitola (Film Producer and Restaurateur), Candace Holyfield-Parker (Beauty Influencer Six Figure Spa Chick), and Dr. Angelina (Founder and President of Surgicare Arts & Aesthetics).
