The Resource Guild presented their monthly “Black Media Mixer ATL” 0n July 25th at The Legacy Center hosted by Randi O (MultiMedia Maven, Brand Strategist – The Resource Guild ). This event included high-level networking with media professionals, and the critically acclaimed “State of Black Media ” panel that features Emmy Award Winning TV & Radio Professionals. Our panelists for this month were: Mike Boozer (Traffic Reporter – WSB-TV/WSB Radio & Co- Host – Black Educated & Broke), Stephanie Stallworth (Traffic Reporter – V103, WAOK, 92.9 The Game and Star94 Atlanta), Mr. Daniel Dickey (Renaissance Man, Award Winning Brand Strategist – The Resource Guild), Rarione Maniece (Reporter/Anchor – 11Alive & Former White House/Capitol Hill correspondent – Black News Channel), and Art Terrell (Program Director, Afternoon Vibes Host – Smooth Jazz 101 and Smooth Jazz 100). Attendees also enjoyed a Tour of Italy Bar curated by The Resource Guild & cocktails were provided by Quiet Storm Vodka. Attendees also enjoyed tasty dessert treats from Sugary Dozen. This event was created to bring cohesion, comradery and a collective consciousness to Black Media in the Black Mecca. Panelists discussed cancel culture, black unity, giving back to the black community, how to stand out and perfect your craft in the media industry, and so much more! We enjoyed a pleasant evening with all the attendees who came to the event.
