The Resource Guild hosted their monthly state of Black Media “Black Media Mixer” 0n December 20th at the Legacy Center. This event included high-level networking with media professionals, a special “State of Black Media ” panel which featured Emmy Award Winning TV & Radio Professionals. Our panelists for this month were: Ebony Porter-Ike (President & Visionary of: The epiMediaGroup, LLC® and Ebony Eyes Entertainment, LLC®), Phil Jackson (Owner of Shootworks LLC, Photography, Media Services & Interviews), Brandolyn Hellams (Segment Producer & Guest Coordinator for Good Day Atlanta (Fox 5 Atlanta)), Shawty (Co-host on “Young Joc and The Streetz Morning Takeover” (Streetz 94.5) and Comedian), and Michelle Wright (Gabby Award Winning Anchor/Reporter (WSB Radio), Founder/CEO-Wright Choice Media), and moderated by Mr. Daniel Dickey (Renaissance Man /Award Winning Brand Strategist / The Resource Guild). Attendees also enjoyed complimentary cocktails sponsored by Kelly Family Distributors & lite bites provided by Simply Exquisite Catering LLC. This event was created to bring cohesion, comradery and a collective consciousness to Black Media in the Black Mecca. Panelists discussed cancel culture, giving back to local Black communities, how to stand out and perfect your craft in the media industry, and so much more! We enjoyed a pleasant evening with all the attendees who came to the event.
