The Atlanta Art Festival was the place to be Halloween weekend! Jaden Smith (Rapper/Actor – The Pursuit of Happyness, The Karate Kid, After Earth) and Raury (Rapper/Singer, previously featured on the acclaimed XXL Magazine Freshman Class cover) hosted The Atlanta Art Festival: Halloween Edition, powered by The Arts Atlanta on Oct. 29th and Oct 30th at Underground Atlanta. The Atlanta Art Festival Halloween Weekend featured carefully curated immersive activities with a diverse selection of projects, including performance arts, dance, an independent film festival w/ silent headphones, fashion/ textile art, food, live music, multimedia projects, and installations. The aim was to create unique spaces that merged conscious individuals with local creatives.

The 2-day festival featured some world renowned DJ’s and some of Atlanta’s hottest DJ’s including: DJ Mars (Usher’s Official DJ), Genesis, Kemit, Kashii, Mudra Mami, Demmy Fuji, DJ Whit.It, Tsunami, DJ Ugh, Saleh, Sean Falyon and more.

Stage performers included: Raury, Mike Rivers, Shaun Rose, Anna Field,Trent in the Trees, Ed.Win, Love, Jesse, SVNDAY, Montre and more.

Visual artists including: Miya Bailey, Eugene Byrd, Tim Short, Uncle Bree, Dizzy, Trey Dowell, Neka King, Ellex Swavoni, Fabian Williams, AD, Sage Guillory, Saarah Quake Solo, Emmanuel Rivas, Quamaine, Giles, Bri Simpson, Honey Pierre, Ugochukwu Agoruah, Stu, Dane Brown, Amani Brooker and more.

 Our highly curated selection of artists showcased their work in a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and multimedia. The poetry room was a unique experience combining some of Atlanta’s poets with live musicians. The event also featured an indie film festival w/silent party headphones curated by TMN & Co. Art lovers enjoyed live jazz and poetry, a vendor market featuring local artists and small businesses, live dance performances from local dance companies, face/body painting, a splatter paint room, a virtual reality room prsented by The Fulton County Public Arts Futures Lab, food trucks, and signature bars sponsored by Rémy Martin, Cointreau, Mount Gay Rum, The Botanist Gin, Jade Champagne, Island Jon Vodka and more! The vibes were right at the Underground Atlanta for the Atlanta Art Festival Halloween Edition!!! DJ’s and performers had attendees on their feet and enjoying the scenery. Dance battles were in  full effect with all genres of music popping from soul, latin jazz, hip hop, afrobeats, and other sounds that made everyone want to  shake their hips. The Atlanta Art Festival Halloween Edition had immersive artwork and exhibits fitting for the entire family. The atmosphere was filled with a variety of entertainment, Atlanta culture, and fun!!! Councilman Jason Dozier presented an official letter from the City of Atlanta welcoming The Atlanta Art Festival – Halloween Edition at Underground Atlanta to the city.
