The Resource Guild hosted their monthly state of Black Media  “Black Media Mixer” 0n October 25th at The Legacy Center.  This event included high-level networking with media professionals, a special “State of Black Media” panel which featured Emmy Award Winning TV & Radio Professionals. Attendees also enjoyed complimentary cocktails sponsored by The Random Whine  & lite bites provided by Big Flo’s Kitchen. Our panelists for this month were: Belinda James (Emmy Winner- Executive Producer Special Projects for Atlanta News First (CBS 46)), Big Tigger (Emmy Winner – Big Tigger Morning Show (V103), Host of The Atlanta Hawks & Atlanta Falcons), Veronica Waters (Anchor/ Reporter/ Legal Correspondent for News/ Talk WSB, Host of “Lawyers In The House w/ Montlick”), Rodney Harris (Emmy WinnerMeteorologist & Traffic Anchor for Atlanta News First (CBS 46)), Gen Johnson (CEO & Founder of SL Level Entertainment, Publicist), and moderated by Mr. Daniel Dickey (Renaissance Man/Award Winning Brand Strategist at The Resource Guild) This event was created to bring cohesion, comradery and a collective consciousness to Black Media in the Black Mecca.Panelists discussed cancel culture, giving back to local Black communities, how to stand out and  perfect your craft in the media industry, and so much more! We enjoyed a pleasant evening with all the attendees who came to the event.
