The Resource Guild hosted their monthly  “Black Media Mixer”  0n April 26th at The Legacy Center.  This event included high-level networking with media professionals, a special “State of Black Media” panel which featured Emmy Award Winning TV & Radio Professionals. Attendees also enjoyed cocktails by Redmont Vodka & HER Wine and complimentary cuisine by Chef Sell (owner of Sells Cajun Cooking). Our panelist for this month were: Trish B (Journalist at WOE Magazine, Sports & Entertainment Host, Partners w/ NFLPA & ESPN ), Walil Archer (Syndicated Photojournalist with Downtown Hott Radio), Monie Love (Legendary Rapper, Emcee, TV Personality (WeTV), Radio Personality at KISS 104.1FM) and moderated by Mr. Daniel Dickey – The Resource Guild (Renaissance Man/Award Winning Brand Strategist)

This event was created to bring cohesion, comradery and a collective consciousness to Black Media in the Black Mecca. We experience similar struggles and victories, this event was an opportunity to celebrate and show support to black women in media.  We enjoyed a pleasant evening with all the attendees who came to the event.
