On Saturday, June 4, 2016, the irresistible allure of exotic sports cars combined with the innate desire to do good for Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta’s 11th Annual Rides to Remember charity event benefiting pediatric cancer patients from Camp Sunshine, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, and CURE Childhood Cancer.  The day began with a delectable breakfast at Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta courtesy of J. Christopher’s while anxious drivers of exotic cars, friendly volunteers, and excited families registered and prepared for an amazing day of fun! Immediately following breakfast and registration, the convoy of cars lead by a police escort on a sightseeing caravan from Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta to the Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, GA.Upon arrival at the Atlanta Motorsports Park, one-by-one each child was escorted to the car of their choice and given an unforgettable ride around this private country club racetrack. While taking a break from fast-fun, families were engaged with soulful sounds courtesy of DJ Mike Zarin, fun conversations with our host Kevin Avery (104.7 The FISH), cool beverages and fun with vendors providing face painting, balloon art, games and mascots Hope and Will from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  While so many excited activities were taking place, a delicious lunch was provided by Morrison Healthcare and cold beverages courtesy of Coca-Cola. 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly to the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House, Camp Sunshine, and CURE. Notable attendees included: Dr. Rondrick Williamson (“The Doctors”) and Sean “Ferrari Simmons” (V-103 Atlanta)
