ATLANTA — The World Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Show made its highly anticipated return to Atlanta, GA on April 18th – 19th, drawing over 15,000 attendees from around the world to AmericasMart in Atlanta for a dynamic, multi-day experience centered on natural beauty, wellness, entrepreneurship, and culture.
Founded by Taliah Waajid, the globally renowned event reinforced its legacy as the longest-running and largest natural lifestyle show for both consumers and professionals. For more than 25 years, the platform has remained at the forefront of celebrating natural hair and Black cultural expression while positioning Atlanta as a global hub for innovation and excellence in the beauty and wellness industries.
This year’s theme, “ELEVATE,” was reflected across all programming aspects, bringing together beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, influencers, and conscious consumers in a shared space for connection, education, and empowerment.
The weekend featured a diverse lineup of influential voices across entrepreneurship, media, and the arts, including Candace Holyfield, Dr. Jamal Bryant, Deante Kyle, Patrice “Sway the Pro” McKinney, Ais Almahdi, AJ McQueen, A Lady Named Pearl, Kamal Speaks, and Brandi Harvey. A standout moment included a featured fireside conversation between Taliah Waajid and Jamal Bryant, exploring the intersection of faith, culture, and entrepreneurship.
Attendees engaged in a multi-layered experience that extended beyond traditional event programming. Highlights included live demonstrations, expert-led workshops, panel discussions, and high-energy hair and barber competitions. The show floor featured over 250 brands and exhibitors, offering curated shopping experiences alongside family-friendly entertainment, music, and cultural activations.
The event also created space for meaningful dialogue around health, financial empowerment, and lifestyle, aligning with its broader mission to inspire and uplift the global natural hair community.
