The Resource Guild hosted our monthly “The State of Black Media Mixer” on November 30th at The Legacy Center. This event included high-level networking with media professionals, a special “State of Black Media ” panel which featured Emmy Award Winning TV & Radio Professionals. Our panelists for this month were: K.C. Pride (Atlanta Business Journal Radio Branding Rockstar), Praise Jackson (Elements of Delight Brand Strategist Image Consulting), Dyron Ducati (DJ, Emcee, & Radio Personality for KISS 104.1), Kianna Dancie (Media Personality, Author & Entrepreneur) and Neiko Flowers (Praise 102.5 On-Air Talent & Executive Producer of Jekayln Carr Family Affair) and our very own Mr. Daniel Dickey (The Resource Guild Renaissance Man/Award Winning Brand Strategist) moderated the event.
Complimentary cocktails were provided from Red Hazel Whiskey, alongside complimentary lite bites courtesy of Chef Wellington Onyenwe with Shamiso Foods. This event was created to bring cohesion, comradery and a collective consciousness to Black Media in the Black Mecca. We experience similar struggles and victories, this event was an opportunity to celebrate and show support to each other better. We enjoyed a pleasant evening of progressive conversation with all the attendees who came to the event.
