On  June 10, 2014 the Miller Lite Tap the Future® Business Plan Competition returned to Atlanta for its Live Pitch Event, where teams of business partners gave their best pitch for a chance to win big money. Five semifinalist teams from Georgia and the surrounding states pitched their businesses in front of a live audience at Opera Nightclub. The teams were  judged and received feedback from some of the sharpest business minds in the country, most notably Daymond John from ABC’s “Shark Tank.”  The top team Bellhops from Chattanooga,TN received $20,000 and advanced to the national finals where they competed for a grand prize of $200,000.

In addition to Daymond John, the judging panel included Marve Frazier, Chief Creative Officer of Moguldom Media Group and CEO of Bossip.com, Lauren Miller, co-owner of Excelegrade, and Joseph Hudson, experienced business developer, community planner, strategist and organizational designer who leads the new voices in the articulation of new approaches for business development. The event was hosted by Kenny Burns, Vice President of marketing for Revolt TV, author of “The Dream is Real” and founder of the lifestyle, online magazine studio43.com.  The Miller Lite Tap the Future campaign made additional stops in Dallas, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Miami to hear pitches from more entrepreneurs.
